Feng Gao (PhD Student, 2015.09-2018.08)


Feng mainly focused on applying artificial intelligence techniques such as deep learning to cancer research,
including but not limited to patient stratification, biomarker and target discovery.
Feng was jointly supervised with Prof. Andrew Yen at Cornell University

Xin Duan (Research Assistant, 2015.09-2017.12)


Xin DUAN worked on drug screening by analyzing brain activity maps of zebrafish models.

Wei Wang (PhD Student, 2015.09-2019.08)


Wei worked on cancer subtyping, prognostic and diagnostic biomaker development as well as elucidating cancer subtype-specific regulatory mechanisms.

Now: Principal Investigator at Laboratory of Big Biomedical Data, Huzhou Women and Children’s Hospital, Zhejiang, China

Yuchen Zhang (PhD Student, 2015.09-2019.08)


Yuchen started focusing on bioinformatics during master study. He mainly worked on cancer-specific regulatory network inference.

Now: Lecturer at College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China

Ying Li (PhD Student, 2017.09-2020.08)


Ying worked on cancer subtyping by linking intra-tumor and inter-tumor heterogeneity.

Now: Lecturer, College of Information and Computer, Taiyuan University of Technology, Shanxi, China

Lina is working on HTSanalyzeR2 and biomarker development.

Hao Huang (PhD Student)


Hao’s research is focused on integrative analysis of ChIP-seq and RNA-seq data to dissect
epigenetic regulations in cancer.
